“Beautiful” by HallMB

Stayed here for a long weekend break, it was the opening weekend. Everything was just lovely, the lodge, the location, the views etc. The two staff (unfortunately don’t know their names) that were on hand throughout our stay were really nice and helpful. Definitely looking to come back soon!

“Perfect place to relax” by karhag

The perfect place to relax & recharge your batteries. Ideal base for visiting Lincoln or having a run to the coast. Our lodge was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything we needed, – loved the addition of the hot tub !! Did not want to leave, would highly recommend . . We are already planning a return visit later in the year.

“Really great stay” by Annie P

Just came back from a 3 night stay here with my boyfriend. It was the second weekend it had been open and you could tell as everything was completely brand new- the towels still had the labels on them so needless to say everything was in great condition and completed to a really high standard. The view from the lodges of the lakes is wonderful and the staff on site we’re helpful. There is not really any facilities on site except the fishing hut serving tea, coffee and breakfast sandwiches. We really enjoyed our stay here and in particular loved the nights in the hot tub which are well positioned so that other people using their hot tubs are not in view. Only couple of small negatives I found, which I’d put down to teething problems as it’s so new were: – not enough kitchen equipment for cooking e.g. Tongs and no tea towels – no wifi whatsoever,, there was a helpful lady onsite that provided us with the wifi code but unfortunately neither of us could pick it up on three different networks. – would have been a nice touch to have a few more cleaning bits like toilet soap and scourer for the dishes. Other than those small bits which didn’t ruin our trip at all but just would have been nice to have, we had a fantastic time.

It is an amazing place, tranquil just lovely for a break ..the lodge was fantastic everything you need couldn’t praise it enough and hot tub was great our lodge (no 3) looked out on a lake with ducks, so peaceful.. sitting on decking looking out at the views or watching fishermen or walking around the other lakes where there was fishing comps, if you like fishing this is a great place we don’t fish but loved watching,.. if you have internet with your provider then the signal is good but if you want wifi then it is just a short walk to the cafe where they will happily give you the code..

“Luxury in every aspect!!!!!!!!!” by aidan765

Not one for writing reviews but felt with the time and effort the owners of this amazing place had gone too that it deserved 5 mins of my time to express how amazed i was with my stay here. We stayed in a 2 bed lodge (lodge 4) with a toddler and one thing we was really impressed with was the decking and how it is all enclosed with a lockable gate which was great with the toddler as he could explore with out us having too worry to much about steps etc. The cabins them selves are brand new with amazing views and also have some lovely extras like the Bluetooth speakers in the roof, wine cooler and the hot tub is great. Fished the island lake as it was outside are lodge and spoke to Terry for some advice on how to fish it and he was more than helpful ,very friendly & approachable Can’t wait to return later this year Thanks

“Relaxed Weekend Away” by Oliver C

We visited Wold View for a short break (Fri-Mon). The site has ten lodges and a few caravan pitches, with 7 lakes available for fishing. The site is family run and the staff were great at recommending places to go and shops near by. We had a go at fishing on the Island Lake which is right outside the cabins and so was ideal for us. By no means am I a fisherman but we enjoyed having a go in the evenings and managed to catch plenty!! We bought fishing passes from Terry in the cabin (£15 for short break- unlimited fishing), and Terry was helpful and knowledgeable about the fishery. We also visited Hall Farm Park which was only a 10 minute drive away and great for kids. There are both Co-Op and Tesco close by and the coast was within easy reach. The cabin itself was great, they are brand new and no expense has been spared, with TV in each room, surround sound system and hot tub. The cabins were spotlessly clean and welcoming, we particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the fishing. Great stay, highly recommended!

“First class experience” by GlosAndy

The lodge we stayed in was absolutely first class. There are so many nice and unexpected touches such as the wine cooler, bluetooth and lovely oak dining table. All the family enjoyed our stay – we didn’t really want to leave! We are not into fishing but found the lodge a good base to explore the area. We walked from the door up onto the Wolds one day. Lincoln and Hull (yes it’s a nice town!) are not far away and we enjoyed the beach at Mablethorpe. The people who run the site are very accommodating. No complaints whatsoever.

“Stunning Lodges!” by soph2221

The lodge we stayed in at Wold View Fisheries was stunning! Immaculate and brimming with extras – including a wine cooler and integrated bluetooth speakers! The management made extra effort for us and our young family providing a cot and sheets and a high chair. We were made to feel very welcome. The lake that the lodges looks over is a little muddy, so if you have dogs that like to run around outside – head to the grassy areas. The grass is growing around the lake just not yet established. This did not affect our stay at all. We will most definitely be visiting again.

“Superb lodge” by Susie80

As you would expect from new lodges, everything spotless, clean and fresh. We are warm, comfortable and cosy, what more can you ask for? Can get 4G on EE if anyone is desperate to keep in touch with the outside world, no signal on Vodafone or Tesco, but wifi available in office/ cafe.
