Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before agreeing to book.

By making a Booking you agree to the following

References to ‘the Company’, ‘we’, ‘us’, and ‘our’ in these terms and conditions apply to Wold View Fisheries. References to ‘you’ in these terms and conditions are to the person making the booking and every member of their party. The person making the booking accepts the contract on behalf of all members of your party and is responsible for making sure they accept the contract.


Booking Periods

You can book either per week Friday – Friday or Monday – Monday or for a short break Monday- Friday, or Friday – Monday.


Keys and Checking in.

The usual check-in time is 3pm, early check-in at 1pm is available for a small extra charge, please enquire. The check-out time 10am. You are obliged to leave everything clean and tidy. You are responsible for any damage done or loss sustained during your stay. On arrival please come to the reception to check in and receive your keys.



When you book you must pay the applicable deposit of 50%

Your balance is due 4 weeks prior to your arrival date.

If your balance is not received more than 4 weeks prior to arrival, we will cancel your booking. The deposit on a cancelled booking is non-refundable.


Cancelling Your Booking

Telephone us immediately if you have decided to cancel your booking. Cancellation requests can only be received more than 4 weeks prior to your arrival. We reserve the right to not refund your deposit, however, deposits are usually refunded to guests if we can re-book their accommodation for that time period.


Group Size

The total number in your party must not exceed the capacity of the accommodation as advertised by us. Babies will be counted as members of your party. You should check the policy of your chosen accommodation carefully before booking. This is for insurance purposes. Any guests found to have exceeded the lodge capacity will be asked to leave immediately. We have cots and high chairs available.


Cancellations or Changes by the Owner

The Owners do not expect to have to make any changes to your booking. However, sometimes problems happen and bookings have to be changed or cancelled or mistakes in brochures or other details corrected. The owner has the right to do this. If we do, we will contact you (by phone if reasonably possible in the case of a significant change or cancellation, we will let you know about minor changes by post) as soon as is reasonably practical. We will explain what has happened and let you know about the cancellation or change.


Bed Linen, Towels 

You will be provided with duvets and pillows for each guest. Please strip the beds on departure. Bed linen is not provided for cots. Towels are provided, each guest will have a hand towel and bath towel. These towels are not for hot tub use, and you will be charged £10.00 for each towel that is damaged. Please bring your own towels for use around the hot tub.


Self Catering

All the lodges at Wold View Fisheries are self catered. We provide tea and coffee, dishwasher tablets and toilet rolls. We do not supply these items for the duration of your stay.


Unreasonable Behaviour

We ask everyone to be respectful to other guests during their stay. Please keep noise and foul language to a minimum. We have the right to refuse to hand over accommodation if the unreasonable behaviour of anyone in your party is likely to cause offence to other guests or to members of staff. We reserve the right to terminate a holiday after the keys have been handed over, if the unreasonable behaviour of anyone in your party is likely to impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of other guests or members of staff. In these circumstances, no refund will be given.


Hot tubs

Wold View Fisheries maintains the hot tubs on a daily basis. In the event of inappropriate use resulting in chemical imbalances and the need to drain and refill the hot tub, a charge of £50 will be made to the person who made the booking. Guides to the proper use of our hot tubs are available in the accommodation.


Damage to Accommodation

You are liable to Wold View Fisheries for any damage caused in the accommodation during the period of hire. Wold View Fisheries has the right to enter any accommodation (without prior notice if this is not practical or possible) if special circumstances or emergencies arise (for example if repairs need to be carried out).



We allow pets in allocated lodges, that you must reserve at time of booking. You must tell us that you are bringing a pet when you make your booking. Pets are £7/night each. You must bring your pet basket with you and ensure that your pet(s) does not lie on the bedding or chairs under any circumstances. Pets must not be left unattended in accommodation or elsewhere, and must be exercised on a lead and in the charge of an adult. Pets are not allowed in the hot tubs, the drainage charge will be implimented if your pet does go in the hot tub.



Your vehicles, their accessories and contents are left entirely at your risk. Wold View Fisheries are not responsible for any loss or damage from or to any vehicle from any cause whatsoever.


This will be a contract between you and us:

If you book by telephone when we accept your initial payment

If we issue you written confirmation

If you book online when your booking is confirmed

We cannot accept bookings from anyone under the age of 18.

We have the right to refuse your booking or not to issue keys on arrival to any persons or groups at our discretion.

We reserve the right to cancel any online booking that we reasonably believe breaches our terms and conditions of booking.

You must check your hire invoice and booking acceptance as well as all other documents we send you carefully as soon as you receive them. If any information appearing on any document appears to be inaccurate in any way, you must let us know straight away. We regret we cannot accept any liability to make changes if we are not notified of any inaccuracy in any document within 7 days of our sending it out.
